I met Rajinder after more than a year. On the 23rd evening he came to our house with his wife Nibedita and daughter Gunjan. As usual Rajinder is an exceptional conversationalist and enlivened the evening with his numerous stories and anecdotes. My wife had laid out a splendid table of Bengali dishes starting with Peas –Kochuris and Cholar Dal, Fish-chops, Chingri Malaikari, Polao and Mutton-Curry. It was nice to know that Raj is doing brilliant work in his field and Nibedita is also working in the same hospital at Dumfries in Scotland. All good things come to an end and only the memory remains. Many thanks Raj for spending some time with us.
