LONDON VISIT:3rd PART

BIG BEN & PARLIAMENT HOUSE

Our next port of call was the Big Ben and the houses of Parliament. In the Park opposite the Parliament are statues of eminent British parliamentarians, of whom Sir Winston is arguably the most well known.
The underground leading to the Westminister station at the bank of the Thames has a statue of the ancient British Queen Boadicea astride a quadriga leading her warriors against the Romans on British soil.
